UnModern Industries brings you a 3 Day Skate Camp!
Where you get a full pro skateboard complete and we dive into all things Skateboarding... Recommended for the beginner skater but open to everyone.
This 3 Day Camp is a DAY CAMP, NO OVERNIGHT STAY.
Ages 6 years - 16 years
DATES: Wednesday March 29 / Thursday March 30 / Friday March 31
TIME: 10am - 5pm
CAMP SCHEDULE:
Drop off as early as 9:45am. Start time is 10am SHARP!
10am - 12pm Workshop // Lecture
12pm - 1pm Lunch (we provide it!)
1pm - 3pm Skate Lessons
3pm - 5pm Free Skate
All three days include what is mentioned below + 1 HOUR RAMP RENTAL TO REDEEM IN APRIL!
Day 1:
- SK8 Anatomy 101 : We will go over in detail of what every part of the skateboard does, how to get the longest life from it, when you need to replace your parts and much more!
- Build-a-Board : We will kick off with putting together your own custom Pro skateboard complete. Choose your favorite graphic and components and We will go over how to properly grip it up and put it all properly together. to preve
Day 2:
- SK8 History 101 : Learn about all the Legends, the brands who revolutionized skating, and how much the skateboard itself has progressed.
- Fieldtrip : Off to Mayberry Skatepark we go!
- Park Etiquette : How to respectfully take turns during busy times at skateparks, where to skate, and where to sit and where to do neither.
Day 3:
- SK8 Trickionary : Ever wondered what tricks are called? We've got you covered. We'll go over trick names, what they all look like and explain what is going on.
- Meet a Pro : We'll keep you guessing who we're inviting, but just know... they're pro.
- Pizza Party : PARTY TIME! Lets celebrate a successful 3 days of skating and learning with pizza, tunes and .... MORE SKATING!
We know that every skater is at a different level in their skate journey, so the lessons will be broken up to 3 groups:
Beginner: Learning how to balance, push and ride. Awareness of surroundings and building confidence to progress.
Intermediate: Learn how to Ollie and maneuver on skate ramps. Lots of trick tips and building confidence.
Advance: Learning how to do advanced tricks like kick flips and grinds on railings. Prepare mindset and focus to take skating to the next level.
